Special Note: When we call our veterans and guardians to notify them of their flight, we call from local businesses supporting us. Those phone numbers may come from Zoetis, so look for that name on your caller ID and make sure your veteran knows!
Talons Out Honor Flight is the Southwest Michigan hub for the national Honor Flight Network. We are your Honor Flight Michigan connection in the lower peninsula. We fly World War II Veterans in and around Southwest Michigan to Washington, D.C. (at no charge to the Vets) to visit their WWII memorial.

On Saturday, April 27, 2013 we announced the launch of the Talons Out Hub. On June 20, 2013 we held our first volunteer meeting.
On Saturday, October 26, 2013 Talons Out flew our first mission: 21 Veterans traveled to Washington, D.C. to visit their memorials and receive the honor they so richly deserve.
As of October 1, 2016 we have flown 10 missions, 682 veterans, on their Honor Flights… all through the generous support of our community and volunteers. Talons Out is currently planning a spring 2017 flight, Mission 11.
WWII and terminally ill veterans from other conflicts take priority status, however as of June 2016, Talons Out began to officially accept Korean War Veteran applications. Our heroes of the Forgotten War will be forgotten no more.
We are an all-volunteer organization, operating strictly on the generous donations of our community. We can proudly say that over 98 cents of every dollar donated to Talons Out goes directly towards getting our veterans to Washington D.C. and honoring them in the best way possible.
